Ah! Exclamation point inside a thought balloon! Almost as soon as I ask a question (see yesterday's comments), it's answered!
Now then...
Am I to understand these fellows in the far future, on another planet, are wearing vintage-looking pirate costumes? Or does this just mean the robot's made a positive visual ID, based on the man's known style of dress?
The "exclamation point in the balloon" schtick was stolen, by me, from Stan Sakai who does the WONDERFUL comic book USAGI YOJIMBO published by the fine folks at Dark Horse Comics. It was NOT in the script, but Len asked for SOMETHING that would show that McT had discovered something, so I thought it appropriate.
AND--I believe we'll find out in another chapter or two about the dOOds that are wearing all these vintage clothes!
